Recently didn realli take out some time to blog. Dunno wads stopping me, it mayb fewer ppl are reading it or I am just pure lazy. But I always think that it’s a good habit as it helps you to reflect wad u did before, the events that happen, your thoughts at that very moment. You will be able to see how much you have matured or the changes in your life. Hence, I decided to use the free time I had during working hours. haha

2 weeks ago on a pleasant Sunday aftern, I went for my lessons as usual. I thought that the lesson was as boring as the previous as they were on theories. Well, gotta just sit and go through the motion of things as I couldn’t expect much from theory lessons.

After lessons, I headed down to Chinatown, which was within walking distance, to meet up Val and Qx. Qx went to the SAFRA around Chinatown area to redeem his MP3 player. I think that he is quite lucky at times. His mp3 player had some problems and just so happen that he was able to use this new one as a replacement. He is always the guy with a little know how of everything. Weird that he din go OCS. Ok so our first stop will be beach road to have our meals. Next in line was SBC to witness the clash between the Hornets and Sin kee, and also, Tong whye and Tagawa. Both were great matches.

Hornets were experiencing good form in their shooting. With the likes of Michael and Tat Hong, they led a relatively young team consisting of established ex-wonderkids Des and Ronglie, and also not forgetting, Hornet’s experienced rebounder, JJP. Looks like the less favourite Sin Kee had a mountain to climb although they had a few ex-national players and 1 foreign player. The hornets were able to show what they were capable of; fast breaks, help side Ds, and shooting. They were already leading by 20 at halftime. It was nice to watch young starlets like KC and GL as they were able to cope with the pressure at playing Singapore’s top basketball league. Sin Kee was having problems coping with Hornet’s offence throughout the game. Hence, this saw them losing nearly 20 points to the Hornets.

Next up was Tong Whye against Tagawa. From the look at Tong Whye’s line up, they didn look weak at all, though without their star player, Joe. They had the nation’s first team centre, Pathman; who can be considered as a veteran with lots of experience in the game, Kendy; a known player in the league, there is this Malaysian born player, Wei Tai; one of the best left-handers in the nation, Yew Sing a.k.a turbo engine. In addition, the bench looks strong as well with Jin Quan, Boy Wonders Xiu han and Wen Bang, and duck who came up from the youth ranks of the club. During the first half of the game, Tong Whye was abit sloppy with its D. Spectators could often witness Pathman losing his rebounds to the oppositions’ centres. I din really see much effort or contest for rebounds from the 1.98m centre. Most of Tagawa’s points came from the pane and Jason, the team’s scoring machine. Tong whye’s shooting form was way off. Tagawa’s star was having the top of his game scoring from downtown, penetrations and some foul-ins. This made him arguably the man of the match. He was totally unstoppable. Credit has to be given to Tagawa’s centres as well. They really dominated in rebounds even with the giant frame of Pathman standing in their way. They didn’t let his height bother them and kept their confidence level high throughout the game. The match was a tight one with Tong Whye trying very hard to catch up with the leading team, Tagawa. There was a fast break where Tagawa was totally caught off guard. They didn anticipate the sudden change of gears by Turbo Engine and this left them chasing after the speedy player. Tong Whye was given a lifeline at the final min of the game. They were one point down to leveling up the game. The losing team was blessed with 2 free throws. Having Kendy, an experience and establish player, on the line, I thought Tong Whye will be able to turn this game around to their advantage. But then came the devastation of 2 missed free-throws. The team’s morale was record low. Hence, this wraps up the game with Tagawa winning by 1.

Realli regret for not putting much effort in my 3 years of education in Ngee Ann. And now I have to pay the price. Becoz of this, i have to take a 2nd medical test. This time the test was much stricter. I was referred to AH for further screening as my cholesterol was slightly on the higher side. CPMB require the doc in charge to come up with a detailed medical report including my pes status. Only then, they can assess me again and confirm my enlistment date. Now, looks like I bound to miss the April intake. Im realli kind of tired with the current stage of my life. Working during the weekdays to earn some cash, weekends will be resting and meetin up frenz. Actually the whole point is just waiting for that imperial letter to come, to tell me the date that i will enter the next phase of my life.

Recently met up with aj, 5 and ch for bball at cck. It is always an enjoyable thing to meet up with old pals to catch up with each of our lives.

I think im getting from bad to worse. There are actually quite alot of feelings and thoughts that i wanna express over here in words. But i cant seem to find the right word, right phrases to describe them. Argh I think i have been slacking too much and not putting my brain into good use. Hai wad a lousy entry!!! tc everybody...
